Yorkshire Terriers - General Information's

The Yorkshire Terrier
The Yorkshire Terrier was created around the middle of the 19th Century by crossing a number of Terrier varieties that existed at that time. This was done around the middle to north of England, especially in the County of Yorkshire, hence the name Yorkshire Terrier.
The "early" Yorkshire Terriers could be as large as 6 kg (14 lbs.) and were used, like other Terrier breeds, to kill rats. Over the time breeders produced a smaller, more beautiful dog that was a household pet and show dog, rather than a rat killer. Info: if you want more info have a Print outs below V

BACKGROUND - History

ORIGINS: Another version of History !

Britain is the home of the Yorkshire Terrier. It was probably the first "man made designer Toy dog" to be produced. Which began in England 1859. The Yorkshire Terrier looks like a long coated classic lap toy dog today. One of the smallest toy dog with a big   personality and a feisty nature, also a little watchdog, by definition a small friendly companion. He is easy to train and because of his small size, he's easy to carry around.
